Peace and Courage! International Women’s Day Belfast 2024 poster competition

The winning artwork will be the main image for our International Women’s Day Poster 2024 and our programme of events. Other entries may be used to illustrate the programme and social media.

There are two age categories 12 -17yrs and 18 - 25yrs

The winner will receive £100 prize and two runners-up will receive £50 each

DEADLINE for entries is January 31st, 2024 - unfortunately entries submitted after the deadline will not be accepted

Guidelines

The poster must be portrait.
The poster will be printed in A3 and A4 so should be of a resolution capable of scaling.
Please refrain from including text.
Digital drawings are allowed however NOT solely pre-existing computer generated elements or AI.
All artwork must be original to the artist.

Conditions for valid entry:

Full Name, Date of Birth, Current Address and Contact Number/Email

Any entrant under 16yrs must have parental/guardian consent and must supply an adults contact details

Open to everyone currently living in Northern Ireland

Decision-making Process:

RTA will establish a panel to view all entries and this decision is final.  Winners will be notified directly and following acceptance, it will be announced on our Social Media Channels.

Notes:

We will discuss the presentation of the artwork with the winning artists for the final poster.   Any artwork received will only be returned if requested and a valid address is supplied.   The artist will be acknowledged where the artwork is used and permission is given.   The winning entry should make themselves available for a photoshoot with the Lord Mayor of Belfast in late February 2024, and is invited to join us at the Rally on 9th March.
