May Day 2025

Reclaim the Agenda took to the street for the annual May Day march marking International Worker’s Day.

At the rally we heard from representatives from various Unions who spoke about ongoing workplace struggles for fair pay and decent conditions, as well as the importance of tackling violence against women and girls and the work of Trade Union Friends of Palestine.

Alongside the Rally was a week long programme of talks, workshops and other events which Reclaim the Agenda Contributed too sharing our knowledge of tackling misogyny and hosting an information stall after the rally. This year the May Day festival theme was “Voices of Solidarity”, which reflects and champions those who stand firm in their beliefs and commitment to justice. “Voices of Solidarity” represents that integrity and the determination to stand up for our shared progressive principles and comradeship.

Raise Your Voice (a partnership project of RTA, WRDA, NIRWN and WSN) hosted a week long online awareness raising campaign about Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. Check out the images below for some more information on what constitutes sexual harassment, how prevalent it is, and how employers and employees can tackle it.
